Checking the sealing fitting process on a quarter symmetry model with and without friction. This is a sample hyperelastic rubber material using the Mooney-Rivlin model. Results of interest are the required fitting force as well as the contact state and pressure.

Demo of cooling of Raspberry Pi using the Immersed Boundary Method (IBM). 
IBM makes CAD cleanup and defeaturing obsolete. A CAD with detailed electronic features (pins, connectors, engravings, etc.) can be directly imported as is for simulation

Steady state and transient analysis of an industrial 7 blade fan ducted fan assembly with cowling.

This study aims at validating the CHT v2 solver of SimScale GmbH with IBM as an option. A peer-reviewed publication focussing on thermal analyses and cooling of an RF electronics package has been used as the basis for this validation case.

Example project of a multiphysics application. A Static and a Frequency analyses are used to determine the structural behavior of the assembly. Then, a conjugate heat transfer analysis will determine the thermal behavior of the cooling process of the motor.

Industrial mixing tank example using the Multiphase solver.

In this example, a simple tank and a baffled tank design are compared in terms of mixing performance. The simulation involves 2-phases (air/water) and rotating parts (impellers).

As a final step, a sparger is implemented at the bottom of the tank, to simulate the tank aeration process.

This project simulates a solid-state relay under a 15W heat load. 
This relay includes a heat sink that acts as a fixture from the relay housing to the mounting wall. The product is tested under natural convection conditions at 20C.

Shelf loading example

The aim is to design a shelf that can withstand certain amount of load.

Failure in this case can be assessed  by either:
(1.) Assessing the maximum stresses developed on the plastic shelf versus different loading conditions
(2.) Checking whether shelf bending might lead large deformations such that the shelf might fall off the mounts

Assessment of the water level of a cooling tower water distribution open channel.

The channel has a water inlet and numerous holes for outlet, while it is open to the atmosphere.

This is a sample project showing how to perform a bolt preload analysis on a bolted flange model.  
For this particular project, sweep mesh controls are utilized, in order to create better quality elements ensuring low total node count.

The project consists of a 45deg flange segment simulation as well as the full flange simulation model.
