Dr. Bianca Szasz holds a PhD degree from the Department of Applied Sciences and Integrated Systems Engineering of Kyushu Institute of Technology in Japan. Prior degrees, Master of Science and Bachelor Degrees in Aerospace Engineering, were earned from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania. She has done her Diploma Engineer thesis with Erasmus Program, in Germany, at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and she worked for 8 months as a Guest Scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). In Japan, she worked for several university space projects, including Shinen2 and Ten-Koh 1 space missions. Later, she was employed as a Special Assistant Professor at Nagoya University, being a mentor in the program "Leadership Development Program for Space Exploration and Research", mentoring graduate students in microsatellite design. Other notable job experiences were at Renault Group, Siemens, Tehiru (American startup in rocketry). Currently, she works for Omnidea Eastern Europe (a space tech company), and she is also a technical writer for several clients including SimScale.
